In a move to modernize and provide transparency on public health, the FDA is shifting from quarterly to daily publication updates of adverse event data from its FAERS system. FAERS collects reports of serious medication errors and other problems related to prescription drugs and medical devices. The agency encourages health care professionals and consumers to report adverse events, drug safety issues, and product quality complaints. The FDA will publish the updates on its FAERS Public Dashboard.
In the work environment, daily updates are a critical communication tool that foster alignment, engagement, and trust among team members by keeping everyone on the same page about company activities. They’re usually short and focused on current priorities or events, delivered at a regular time to establish routine and reliability, and shared in a team channel for teammates to ask questions.
To enable daily updates in your Action, configure one of its intents as a triggering intent and set the daily update option as a response for that intent. Add a conversation that prompts users to subscribe and references any custom parameters they provide when registering for daily updates (see the following sections for instructions on adding these dialogs, which vary slightly depending on whether you use Dialogflow or the Actions SDK for development). When a user invokes the intended intent, they will receive a notification on their device with a link to your daily update conversation.
