A daily report of progress or changes that occur on a regular basis. For example, a project manager might provide a daily update on the status of projects to the team during morning meetings.
To enable daily updates for your Action, configure one of the intents in your Action to send an Assistant notification at a pre-scheduled time each day. When prompted to subscribe to this feature, users can tap the daily update notification to invoke your Action at the scheduled time.
When adding a daily updates subscription flow to your Action, be sure to consider your user’s context and experience. Offer the prompt to register right after showing the value of your Action, and avoid repeating the prompt in other contexts. Also, make sure tapping the daily update notification will lead to different, useful information every day — otherwise users might unsubscribe after a few days. To get started, open the Actions console and click Develop in the top menu. Then, select Intents in the left menu to expand the section. Click add_circle_outline at the bottom of the list to create a new intent and set it as a daily update. In the scenes tab, add this intent to a system scene.
